Abstract

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a multi-organ system autoimmune disease of significant complexity, morbidity and mortality. The prevalence of SLE is reported as 20-150 per 1 lakh population and is common in women with onset in 16-55 years of age. SLE has a wide range of clinical and serological manifestations that affects various organ. Here, we report a case of 38 year old women with acute pancreatitis as a rare presentation of systemic lupus erythematosus.
