Abstract

Hanging is one of the most common methods of suicidal deaths around the world, sometimes the nature of hanging or the surroundings may be misleading and cause rise in suspicion in certain cases.  Visit to crime scene provides a lot of knowledge about the crime. So, a methodological way of approach helps in distinguishing homicidal from suicidal hanging. Here we discuss a case where the deceased hanged with body and feet tied to a nearby pole in a suspicious way.
